Pada perdagangan awal pekan ini, Senin (1/3/2010), Indeks Harga Saham Gabungan (IHSG) akhirnya berhasil ditutup menguat 5,641 poin (0,22%) ke level 2.554,674. Indeks LQ 45 juga tercatat menguat 1,168 poin (0,23%) ke level 497,195.

Sementara bursa-bursa regional Asia bergerak di teritori positif sebagai berikut:
• Indeks Shanghai naik 35,9 poin (1,18%) ke level 3.087,84.
• Indeks Hang Seng naik 448,23 poin (2,17%) ke level 21.056,83.
• Indeks Nikkei 225 naik 46,03 poin (0,45%) ke level 10.172,06.
• Indeks Strait Times naik 23,55 poin (0,86%) ke level 2.774,41.

Saham Top Gainer: Delta Djakarta (DLTA) naik Rp 1.500 ke Rp 72.000, Gudang Garam (GGRM) naik Rp 1.050 ke Rp 27.100, Astra International (ASII) naik Rp 600 ke Rp 36.850, Indo Tambangraya Megah (ITMG) naik Rp 550 ke Rp 32.150, Astra Otoparts (AUTO) naik Rp 300 ke Rp 6.700, Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam (PTBA) naik Rp 200 ke Rp 15.800.

Saham Top Loser: Multi Bintang Indonesia (MLBI) turun Rp 500 ke Rp 156.500, Astra Agro Lestari (AALI) turun Rp 300 ke Rp 23.900, Indocement Tunggal Prakasa (INTP) turun Rp 150 ke Rp 13.550, Telkom (TLKM) turun Rp 150 ke Rp 8.150, Bumi Resources (BUMI) turun Rp 75 ke Rp 2.175, Bank Central Asia (BBCA) turun Rp 75 ke Rp 4.800.
