Pada perdagangan hari ini, Rabu (31/3/2010), Indeks Harga Saham Gabungan (IHSG) ditutup melemah 20,967 poin (0,75%) ke level 2.777,301. Indeks LQ 45 juga tercatat melemah 4,501 poin (0,83%) ke level 539,801.

Penguatan saham-saham unggulan seperti Adaro Energy (ADRO), International Nickel Indonesia (INCO), Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam (PTBA), PP London Sumatra Indonesia (LSIP), Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGAS) dan Aneka Tambang (ANTM) tidak mampu mempertahankan posisi IHSG untuk berada di zona hijau hari ini akibat aksi "profit-taking" dari para investor asing yang masih berlanjut.

Sementara itu bursa-bursa regional bergerak variatif di zona merah, yaitu:
• Indeks Shanghai turun 19,36 poin (0,62%) ke level 3.109,10.
• Indeks Hang Seng turun 135,44 poin (0,63%) ke level 21.239,35.
• Indeks Nikkei-225 turun 7,2 poin (0,06%) ke level 11.089,94.
• Indeks Straits Times turun 37,57 poin (1,28%) ke level 2.895,82.
• Indeks KOSPI turun 7,34 poin (0,43%) ke level 1.692,85.

Saham Top Gainer: Sepatu Bata (BATA) naik Rp 1.000 ke Rp 30.000, Bank Tabungan Pensiunan Nasional (BTPN) naik Rp 700 ke Rp 7.900, Goodyear Indonesia (GDYR) naik Rp 700 ke Rp 12.800, Astra Agro Lestari (AALI) naik Rp 300 ke Rp 24.600, Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam (PTBA) naik Rp 200 ke Rp 17.400, International Nickel Indonesia (INCO) naik Rp 100 ke Rp 4.725, Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGAS) naik Rp 75 ke Rp 4.250.

Saham Top Loser: Multi Bintang Indonesia (MLBI) turun Rp 1.000 ke Rp 163.000, Indo Tambangraya Megah (ITMG) turun Rp 900 ke Rp 38.050, Petrosea (PTRO) turun Rp 900 ke Rp 9.000, Gudang Garam (GGRM) turun Rp 600 ke Rp 24.750, Astra International (ASII) turun Rp 500 ke Rp 41.900, United Tractors (UNTR) turun Rp 350 ke Rp 18.350.
