Pada perdagangan awal pekan ini, Senin (3/5/2010), Indeks Harga Saham Gabungan (IHSG) ditutup melemah 10,357 poin (0,34%) ke level 2.960,895. Indeks LQ 45 juga tercatat melemah 0,833 poin (0,14%) ke level 572,532.

Sentimen negatif dari melemahnya bursa-bursa regional dan juga aksi "profit-taking" dari para investor terhadap sejumlah saham-saham unggulan khususnya di sektor pertambangan dan sektor perkebunan akhirnya membuat IHSG terjebak dalam zona merah hari ini.

Sementara itu bursa-bursa regional seluruhnya juga ditutup melemah, yaitu:
• Indeks Hang Seng anjlok 297,23 poin (1,41%) ke level 20.811,36.
• Indeks Straits Times turun 28,73 poin (0,97%) ke level 2.945,88.
• Indeks KOSPI turun 20,35 poin (1,17%) ke level 1.721,21.
• Indeks Taiwan turun 52,08 poin (0,65%) ke level 7.952,17.

Saham Top Gainer: Unilever Indonesia (UNVR) naik Rp 600 ke Rp 14.450, Indocement Tunggal Prakasa (INTP) naik Rp 550 ke Rp 16.350, Petrosea (PTRO) naik Rp 500 ke Rp 9.500, Telkom (TLKM) naik Rp 150 ke Rp 8.000, First Media (KBLV) naik Rp 150 ke Rp 750.

Saham Top Loser: Astra International (ASII) turun Rp 750 ke Rp 46.400, Astra Otoparts (AUTO) turun Rp 600 ke Rp 13.850, Astra Agro Lestari (AALI) turun Rp 400 ke Rp 21.800, Indo Tambangraya Megah (ITMG) turun Rp 250 ke Rp 38.800, United Tractors (UNTR) turun Rp 200 ke Rp 19.300.
