Pada perdagangan awal pekan hari ini, Senin (17/5/2010), Indeks Harga Saham Gabungan (IHSG) ditutup melemah 38,915 poin (1,36%%) ke level 2.819,470. Indeks LQ 45 juga tercatat melemah 8,147 poin (1,47%) ke level 542,851.

Sentimen negatif bursa global dan aksi jual investor terhadap hampir semua saham-saham unggulan terutama dari sektor pertambangan dan perkebunan membuat IHSG terjebak di zona merah sepanjang perdagangan hari ini.

Bursa-bursa regional secara mayoritas ditutup di teritori negatif, yaitu:
• Indeks Shanghai turun 136,70 poin (5,07%) ke level 2.559,93.
• Indeks Hang Seng turun 430,23 poin (2,14%) ke level 19.715,20.
• Indeks Nikkei 225 turun 226,75 poin (2,17%) ke level 10.235,76.
• Indeks Strait Times turun 22,36 poin (0,78%) ke level 2.832,85.

Saham Top Gainer: Unggul Indah Cahaya (UNIC) naik Rp 300 ke Rp 2.450, Sumber Alfaria Trijaya (AMRT) naik Rp 230 ke Rp 1.230, Samudera Indonesia (SMDR) naik Rp 200 ke Rp 3.500, Bank Central Asia (BBCA) naik Rp 100 ke Rp 5.350, HM Sampoerna (HMSP) naik Rp 50 ke Rp 14.400.

Saham Top Loser: Astra Agro Lestari (AALI) turun Rp 950 ke Rp 20.150, Astra International (ASII) turun Rp 700 ke Rp 41.900, Astra Otoparts (AUTO) turun Rp 650 ke Rp 13.550, Indocement Tunggal Prakasa (INTP) turun Rp 400 ke Rp 15.400, Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam (PTBA) turun Rp 350 ke Rp 17.850.
