Pada perdagangan hari ini, Kamis (7/1/2010), Indeks Harga Saham Gabungan (IHSG) ditutup melemah 16,402 poin (0,64%) ke level 2.586,895. Indeks LQ 45 juga melemah 3,762 poin (0,74%) ke level 509,446.

Penurunan IHSG hari ini lebih banyak didominasi oleh para pelaku pasar yang melakukan aksi "profit-taking" setelah IHSG rally panjang selama 2 hari perdana di tahun 2010.

Sementara bursa-bursa regional juga bergerak di teritori negatif hari ini yaitu:
• Indeks Hang Seng turun 147,22 poin (0,66%) ke level 22.269,45.
• Indeks Nikkei-225 turun 49,79 poin (0,46%) ke level 10.681,66.
• Indeks Straits Times turun 19,06 poin (0,65%) ke level 2.911,43.
• Indeks KOSPI turun 21,87 poin (1,28%) ke level 1.683,45.

Saham Top Gainer: Astra Agro Lestari (AALI) naik Rp 950 ke Rp 25.050, PP London Sumatera (LSIP) naik Rp 500 ke Rp 9.200, SMART (SMAR) naik Rp 200 ke Rp 2.900, Sampoerna Agro (SGRO) naik Rp 150 ke Rp 2.975, Hexindo Adiperkasa (HEXA) naik Rp 100 ke Rp 3.425, Indocement Tunggal Prakasa (INTP) naik Rp 200 ke Rp 14.400.

Saham Top Loser: Gudang Garam (GGRM) turun Rp 400 ke Rp 20.900, Astra International (ASII) turun Rp 1.100 ke Rp 34.200, Multi Bintang Indonesia (MLBI) turun Rp 300 ke Rp 176.700, Bayan Resources (BYAN) turun Rp 250 ke Rp 5.550, United Tractors (UNTR) turun Rp 200 ke Rp 15.850, Indo Tambangraya Megah (ITMG) turun Rp 400 ke Rp 32.600, Delta Djakarta (DLTA) turun Rp 900 ke Rp 62.100.
