Pada perdagangan hari ini, Kamis (21/1/2010), Indeks Harga Saham Gabungan (IHSG) ditutup merosot tajam 28,884 poin (1,08%) ke level 2.638,382. Indeks LQ 45 juga tercatat melemah 7,086 poin (1,34%) ke level 518,413.

Tekanan jual yang cukup besar dari saham-saham di sektor perbankan dan pertambangan menyebabkan IHSG tidak mampu bertahan di teritori positif hari ini.

Sementara bursa-bursa regional bergerak variatif yaitu:
• Indeks Shanghai naik 7,01 poin (0,22%) ke level .
• Indeks Hang Seng merosot 423,50 poin (1,99%) ke level 20.862,67.
• Indeks Nikkei-225 naik 130,89 poin (1,22%) ke level 10.868,41.
• Indeks Straits Times turun 39,48 poin (1,36%) ke level 2.853,65.

Saham Top Gainer: Delta Djakarta (DLTA) naik Rp 7.000 ke Rp 89.000, Bank Tabungan Pensiunan N (BTPN) naik Rp 625 ke Rp 5.400, Astra Agro Lestari (AALI) naik Rp 250 ke Rp 24.750, Bank Tabungan Negara (BBTN) naik Rp 80 ke Rp 1.020, XL Axiata (EXCL) naik Rp 50 ke Rp 2.500, Adira Dinamika Multi Finance (ADMF) naik Rp 50 ke Rp 7.750.

Saham Top Loser: Merck (MERK) turun Rp 8.000 ke Rp 72.000, Indo Tambangraya Megah (ITMG) turun Rp 750 ke Rp 33.400, United Tractors (UNTR) turun Rp 650 ke Rp 17.700, Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam (PTBA) turun Rp 200 ke Rp 17.700, Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BBRI) turun Rp 200 ke Rp 7.900, Bank Central Asia (BBCA) turun Rp 175 ke Rp 4.825, Bank Mandiri (BMRI) turun Rp 150 ke Rp 4.700.
