Pada perdagangan Senin (14/12/2009), Indeks Harga Saham Gabungan (IHSG) ditutup melemah 12,713 poin (0,50%) ke level 2.506,386. Indeks LQ 45 juga tercatat melemah 2,4 poin (0,48%) ke level 496,008. Perdagangan hari ini diwarnai oleh aksi "profit-taking" menjelang liburan Tahun Baru Hijriyah hari Jumat mendatang (18/12/2009) dengan volume perdagangan yang cukup moderat yaitu 5,316 miliar saham senilai Rp 3,513 triliun.

Sebaliknya bursa-bursa regional secara mayoritas berada di teritori positif:
. Indeks Komposit Shanghai naik 55,59 poin (1,71%) ke level 3.302,90.
. Indeks Hang Seng menguat 183,64 poin (0,84%) ke level 22,085,75.
. Indeks Nikkei-225 melemah tipis 2,19 poin (0,02%) ke level 10.105,68.
. Indeks Straits Times naik tipis 2,05 poin (0,07%) ke level 2.802,56.

Saham Top Gainer: Schering Plough Indonesia (SCPI) naik Rp 2.000 ke Rp 39.000, Dian Swastatika Sentosa (DSSA) naik Rp 700 ke Rp 3.500, Gudang Garam (GGRM) naik Rp 850 ke Rp 20.750, Indo Tambangraya Megah (ITMG) naik Rp 500 ke Rp 29.500, Unilever (UNVR) naik Rp 200 ke Rp 11.200, Semen Gresik (SMGR) naik Rp 150 ke Rp 7.500.

Saham Top Loser: Telkom (TLKM) turun Rp 300 ke Rp 9.500, Astra Autoparts (AUTO) turun Rp 300 ke Rp 5.700, Bumi Resources (BUMI) turun Rp 150 ke Rp 2.425, Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam (PTBA) turun Rp 100 ke Rp 17.200, Medco Energi International (MEDC) turun Rp 100 ke Rp 2.450, United Tractors (UNTR) turun Rp 100 ke Rp 15.200.
