Pada perdagangan hari ini, Senin (21/12/2009), Indeks Harga Saham Gabungan (IHSG) ditutup merosot 78,187 poin (3,11%) ke level 2.431,389. Indeks LQ 45 juga melemah 18,027 poin (3,63%) ke level 478,425.

Jatuhnya saham-saham di sektor pertambangan dan perkebunan menjadi penyebab utama melemahnya IHSG hari ini. Selain itu, pergerakan IHSG hari ini banyak didominasi oleh tekanan aksi jual yang sangat besar pada saham-saham berkapitalisasi besar seperti Telkom (TLKM).

Sementara bursa-bursa regional bergerak variatif sebagai berikut:
. Indeks Komposit Shanghai naik 9,09 poin (0,29%) ke level 3.122,97.
. Indeks Hang Seng turun 227,78 poin (1,08%) ke level 20.948,10.
. Indeks Nikkei-225 naik 41,42 poin (0,41%) ke level 10.183,47.
. Indeks Straits Times turun 8,85 poin (0,31%) ke level 2.793,94.

Saham Top Gainer: Fast Food Indonesia (FAST) naik Rp 500 ke Rp 5.200, Astra Otoparts (AUTO) naik Rp 100 ke Rp 5.700, Jaya Konstruksi (JKON) naik Rp 100 ke Rp 700, Bayan Resources (BYAN) naik Rp 100 ke Rp 5.700, AKR Corporindo (AKRA) naik Rp 60 ke Rp 1.130, Gudang Garam (GGRM) naik Rp 50 ke Rp 19.850.

Saham Top Loser: Astra International (ASII) turun Rp 1.100 ke Rp 33.900, United Tractors (UNTR) turun Rp 800 ke Rp 15.050, Telkom (TLKM) turun Rp 600 ke Rp 9.500, Indocement Tunggal Prakasa (INTP) turun Rp 950 ke Rp 12.100, Astra Agro Lestari (AALI) turun Rp 900 ke Rp 22.700, PP London Sumatera (LSIP) turun Rp 500 ke Rp 8.000, Indo Tambangraya Megah (ITMG) turun Rp 1.000 ke Rp 30.400, Multi Bintang Indonesia (MLBI) turun Rp 1.000 ke Rp 177.000, Bumi Resources (BUMI) turun Rp 150 ke Rp 2.100.
