Pada perdagangan hari ini, Kamis (17/12/2009), Indeks Harga Saham Gabungan (IHSG) akhirnya ditutup melemah hingga 12,969 poin (0,51%) ke level 2.509,576. Indeks LQ 45 juga tercatat melemah 2,784 poin (0,56%) ke level 496,452.

Market Analyst menilai jatuhnya saham Bumi Resources (BUMI) sebanyak Rp 100 menjadi Rp 2.250 dengan nilai transaksi Rp 505,5 miliar merupakan pemicu utama melemahnya IHSG hari ini.

Sementara bursa regional secara mayoritas bergerak variatif di teritori negatif, yakni:

. Indeks Nikkei-225 ditutup melemah tipis 13,61 poin (0,13%) ke level 10.163,80.
. Indeks Hang Seng melemah 264,11 poin (1,22%) ke level 21.347,63.
. Indeks Komposit Shanghai melemah 76,13 poin (2,34%) ke level 3.179,08.
. Indeks KOSPI melemah 16,4 poin (0,99%) ke level 1.647,84.
. Indeks S&P/ASX 200 menguat tipis 8,4 poin (0,18%) ke level 4.670.

Saham Top Gainer: Bank Tabungan Negara (BBTN) debut perdana naik Rp 40 menjadi Rp 840, Astra International (ASII) naik Rp 500 menjadi Rp 35.000, Telkom (TLKM) naik Rp 250 menjadi Rp 10.100, United Tractors (UNTR) naik Rp 150 menjadi Rp 15.850, Charoen Pokphan Indonesia (CPIN) naik Rp 200 menjadi Rp 2.325.

Saham Top Loser: Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGAS) turun Rp 150 menjadi Rp 3.775, Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BBRI) turun Rp 100 menjadi Rp 7.550, Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa (INTP) turun Rp 250 menjadi Rp 13.050, Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam (PTBA) turun Rp 200 menjadi Rp 17.300.
