Pada perdagangan hari ini, Rabu (23/12/2009), Indeks Harga Saham Gabungan (IHSG) kembali berhasil ditutup menguat tipis 7,246 poin (0,29%) ke level 2.474,883. Indeks LQ 45 juga tercatat menguat 1,690 poin (0,34%) ke level 488,038.

Sementara bursa-bursa regional juga ditutup menguat yaitu sebagai berikut:
. Indeks Komposit Shanghai naik 23,26 poin (0,76%) ke level 3.073,78.
. Indeks Hang Seng naik 236,70 poin (1,12%) ke level 21.328,74.
. Indeks KOSPI naik 5,81 poin (0,35%) ke level 1.661,35.
. Indeks Straits Times naik 16,69 poin (0,59%) ke level 2.840,51.

Saham Top Gainer: Goodyear Indonesia (GDYR) naik Rp 1.100 ke Rp 9.800, Delta Djakarta (DLTA) naik Rp 1.000 ke Rp 62.000, Indo Tambangraya Megah (ITMG) naik Rp 400 ke Rp 30.600, Indocement Tunggal Prakasa (INTP) naik Rp 400 ke Rp 13.300, Mayora Indah (MYOR) naik Rp 300 ke Rp 4.275, PP London Sumatera (LSIP) naik Rp 150 ke Rp 8.100, Unilever Indonesia (UNVR) naik Rp 150 ke Rp 11.150.

Saham Top Loser: Gudang Garam (GGRM) turun Rp 250 ke Rp 20.000, Astra International (ASII) turun Rp 100 ke Rp 34.000, Telkom (TLKM) turun Rp 100 ke Rp 9.600, Bayan Resources (BYAN) turun Rp 100 ke Rp 5.550, Sampoerna Agro (SGRO) turun Rp 50 ke Rp 2.550.
